About Cait Collins

Based in Somerset, near Minehead on the coastal edge of Exmoor, Caitlin Collins coaches groups and individuals wanting to change limiting behaviour, resolve personal conflict, and find purpose and direction in their lives. She has a particular interest in helping people to free themselves from unwanted habitual / compulsive behaviours.
Cait started practising meditation in the late 1970s with Zen and Tibetan Buddhist teachers in America and India, and continues to study closely with teachers in the Tibetan tradition; she also teaches Buddhism and facilitates Tibetan Buddhist groups in the south and west of England. She has a degree in Religious Studies and Tibetan Language, holds qualifications in acupuncture and counselling, has trained and worked in community mediation, and is an NLP Trainer (INLPTA). Since 2003 Cait has been developing the Natural Mind Magic programme, which brings together Tibetan Buddhist meditation and NLP for personal development, and leading Natural Mind Magic courses in the south and west of England. She is currently creating a range of self-help programmes consisting of manuals backed up by telephone support, including Stop Smoking, Weight Management, Emotional Wellbeing, and Meditation for Life, available via the internet and by post.
In addition to this, having worked with horses for many years in the UK and America, Cait is interested in positively motivated horse-teaching methods and mutually beneficial horse-human connections, such as equine-assisted learning. A BHSAI with 45 years experience with horses, she uses the principles of natural horsemanship, emphasising a warm-hearted, friendly approach and positive methods including clicker training, to help with starting and bringing on young horses, problem-solving, and developing confidence in nervous horses (and their humans). She particularly enjoys working with ponies (especially Exmoors), Arabs, and cobs. MORE
